All in the Family is a great example. A good theme song always makes you want to hurry up, finish what you're getting from the kitchen, and get your ass to the living room (or wherever) to catch the show.

I was thinking about that myself. Yeah, once upon a time they devoted more time to opening sequences. I don't think we'll ever really see that again. Most shows I see now, they just pretty much get right into it. Very little buildup beforehand.

Well, the shit obviously worked, as they resonate still, with so many, all these years later.







Maybe TV today should take a look at that, cuz for the most part, shows today, blow.

I loved this one as a kid. Always used to get that tingle when I heard this coming on. (I think it was after the Incredible Hulk.. another good one). Couldn't find the original one on YouTube, only on DailyMotion. That one has Erin Gray in her white battle uniform... grrr. Yum. Liked that as a kid. A lot.
