So, teams... Everyone drafts 13 players, then partners are announced and partners decide on a different starting five for each game, best of five. I think this is a great idea for a draft because do you save your best five for the final game or do you play your best five in game 3 or 4 to make sure you get to game 5.

There are no player restrictions, you can draft any player at any position, but you have to come up with FIVE lineups using 25 different players.

Two top 5 picks per game.

Nos - Milk
UK - Devil
Shane - Ritz
500 - Sushi
Femur - WLK

Great idea Troy! :suds:

To make this a little more difficult we could make it a cap draft, if not thats fine.

Questions?

Hear me out. How about we announce partners after round 10? There is a possiblity some teams could be screw bc they don’t have a PG-SG-SF-PF-C in a lineup. This way we would draft 3 rounds knowing our partner....

Plus making it 10 we can draft two lineups on our own

How are the partners being decided? Are we drafting them or doing it randomly?

Is there really any reason not to know who your partner is at the beginning of the draft?

I think it prevents people from working together in the draft. Instead of having 2 picks in every round to build your team from scratch, you are drafting your own team and combining it with another individual team (is that an oxymoron?), then adding any missing pieces that you would need to finish it off.

I think I would draft differently according to those different rules.

How about we know our partners from the start, and instead of a cap, all 26 players drafted must be from different teams?

There is a cap? I like the random partners at Round 10

Lets not make the NBA draft any more difficult than it needs to be.
