When all else fails, Smack em' in the Mouth!
gonna be the jets & dont see him getting 17 a yr.
He extended his career. Steelers were running him into the ground and weren't going to pay him for it. They left him no choice. That idiot would have to average more than $17Mil a year for about 5 years (a running back? seriously?)to make up what he fucked away this season.
Fucking moron.
a cap on touches? jesus dude..........should demarco murray of not played? or how bout the touches gurley gets, or melvin gordon? He extended his career. Steelers were running him into the ground and weren't going to pay him for it. They left him no choice.
NFLPA should argue for a cap on touches. That would suck. Blame the Steelers.

Don't care, yesterday's news. That guy has had his last 1000 yard rushing season. He'll play next year, average about 3.4 yards per carry, get hurt around game 6 or 7, miss a month and a half, come back for the last two games, and look like shit. Career decline had already set in for him before the holdout.Report: Le'Veon Bell seeking $17M annually It's $3 million higher than Todd Gurley's average salary. Bell also wants $45 million guaranteed. It's a lot of money for a 27-year-old coming off a holdout at a devalued position, but Bell is going to get overpaid this offseason. With the Steelers expected to transition tag Bell, teams may be forced to frontload Bell's contract.

True, but teams will look at it as a free year of rest that wasn't injury relatedIt's a lot of money for a 27-year-old coming off a holdout at a devalued position
Browns lolololllTrue, but teams will look at it as a free year of rest that wasn't injury related
Some desperate GM/Owner will pony up I bet, maybe in the 15mil a year range
They might also look at it like, this dude is a complete ass who was under contract and bailed on his team.True, but teams will look at it as a free year of rest that wasn't injury related

Cancerous locker room players seem to get almost ulimited chances in this league if they have the talentThey might also look at it like, this dude is a complete ass who was under contract and bailed on his team.
Of course the do, much like the POTUS the NFL has no moral compassCancerous locker room players seem to get almost ulimited chances in this league if they have the talent

Never could or would happen. He extended his career. Steelers were running him into the ground and weren't going to pay him for it. They left him no choice.
NFLPA should argue for a cap on touches. That would suck. Blame the Steelers for gaming the system.

Not sure I agree with all of this but I get it.Whatever team overpays this douchebag had better revamp their entire offensive line too, retrain them to hold their blocks forever while Twinkletoes dances in the backfield making up his mind where he wants to go..Bell was a pure product of the Steelers O-Line and it is doubtful he will have the same success elsewhere. So go ahead and pay the Motherfucker $17 M/ year.
