What kind of beer did your old man drink when you were growing up? When my dad wasn't drinking whiskey he was downing Stroh's and Coors light. Later in life he got into Heineken and still drinks it today.
He didn't drink much beer (mainly Crown Royal), but when he did, it was either Bud or Coors Light with tomato juice.
My oldest brother drank Bud mainly, but has since started drinking darker beers since he's made several trips over seas for work. My middle brother sticks to Coors/Keystone light.
Since college, I rarely drink a light beer and mainly go for amber ales when I'm at a restaurant.
My parents sucked. They drank whatever was the cheapest that week, which translated to either a busch, miller lite, or schlitz tall boys. And I also was given a sip when I was way underage, of a miller, and it scared me off of beer until I was mid-20's. Then, I actually tried a real beer and thought, okay, my tastes have changed. So I went out and tried another miller-- and it sill sucked.
I still drink it from time to time just cause I remember stealing it out of Dad's ice chest that STAYED in the bed of his truck and was ALWAYS full of beer. lol
