I still think we can pull off a 11-5 or 10-6 season. What we have seen so far is not something we are used to as fans, but great teams can't last forever. I believe we need to stick together as fans and keep the faith. The 2-2 record this year says more than the disgusting results we have seen on the field. Like golf, the results only show up on the card.

The D is going its job, the KC game being an exception, but the whole team was deflated from the outset in that game.

Most of the time, almost any team should do this, because rarely are the #1 picks worth it unless you happen to have a sure bet in the draft that year.

Exactly, and BB was loath to dump a boatload of guaranteed money on some college stud who had yet to prove he could run with the big dogs.

With the new CBA and rookie salary scale I think you'll see him use those picks more often rather than trading down.

Almost forgot to make my prediction. The Pats have a pretty tough schedule and the defenses in their division are usually pretty stout so I think 11-5 is doable, but 10-6 is more realistic.
