Anyone else looking forward to this show?

I used to watch The Office and loved Raiin Wilson from that.

Premiers this Thursday 1/22 on FOX

I'm DVRing the premiere and will watch it to see if it's any good. I'll set it to a series recording if it is and then if it isn't, it's just 45 minutes of my life wasted.

You have to give shows a better chance than just one episode. Usually by 3 o 4 episodes you can tell what direction it is heading in.

Ive had awesome shows that took an entire season before I got into it.

Networks cancel them too fast before they can gain traction imo

For instance, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D was mediocre as hell until about 15 episodes in.

I know most of us loved the office, and enjoyed the Dwight Shrute characte, but Raine Wilson really has been in shitty movies and weak tv shows besides that... I do find it funny that many of us(me included) will give this show a chance solely because of Wilson...

I just don't see it working. Wilson is known for his portrayal of Dwight Schrute. Becoming a lead for a crime drama just doesn't work, IMO.

Anthony Shaloob was known as an eccentric cab driver...

Fingers crossed that it works out. I didn't think Brooklyn 99 would be good and it has turned out to be a nice little comedy on Sunday nights so I am optimistic.

Talk about being typecast, from the guy in the office nobody liked, to a detective that nobody likes.

Plus its fox, they get cult like followings to their shows and cancel them anyway.

I'm glad I did that with Constantine. The pilot was awful but it's gotten really good lately. Too bad it's still likely to get the axe after it's episode order ends.

Man, that was a great show.


I'll give Dwight as a detective at least a couple episodes of viewing.

first episode was a fail in my opinion... But as a tv junkie i will likely give it one more chance...
