Awesome time shooting today

Me and a couple good buds went out and blew off a little over 1000 rounds of .223 today with our AR's

We blew up like 30 exploding targets a few of which was the 20 pounders.

Then we we shot Pistols for awhile next to a metal trash barrel filled up for a nice fire to keep us warm. Once done shooting we locked up all the weapons and had a few beers at the club before heading home.

Fucking awesome day.

I can't tell you how many times I've been called a redneck bc I think shooting is fun. I mean what's not to love about blowing shit up?

My wife, brother and his wife, sister and her boyfriend and I all met out at my mothers house in the country this afternoon to eat some pizza and get some high quality shooting in. Was able to run another 200 or so rounds through my Shield. Absolutely love this thing.

I took my HD shotgun, PF9 and the Shield. My sisters boyfriend had a AK-47, a little uzzi type gun, a full size Ruger 9mm and .40, .22 rifle, S&W .357 revolver and a tiny Taurus (if I remember correctly) .38. Aside from my thumbs being sore as shit (gotta get me a mag loader), it was a fantastic day. We blew through a small fortune in ammo but it was worth every damn penny.

I remember vaporizing gallon jugs of water at 35 yds shooting hollow tips from my S&W 357

I'm slightly jealous. I got my AR built in the fall and was only able to get out and shoot it once. It's just been too damn cold and snowy this winter to get out again. I'm anxiously awaiting spring.
