Russell was a beast for NAU last year as a freshman... heard he's transferring to ASU to take over as starting PG once Jahii leaves.

No problem, it is burned into my memory since all of the UofA records are printed in Game-Programs. I must have at least 200 of those things. My dad first got season tickets when he was a professor at the UofA in the mid-70s, so we've had tickets since before McKale was built. That is why I'm an OG.

Haha that's awesome man. Sounds like you were raised the right way. I grew up in Nogales; basically an extension on Tucson when it comes to the UofA. Shoot, I remember getting scolded by my parents one morning because I fell asleep during a basketball game and I missed Mile Simons half court shot to win the game. The UofA family is unlike any other!

Is that the rumor now? Last I heard a few weeks ago he was transferring to Grand Canyon, but hadn't gotten his release from NAU. I don't think I saw the NAU game last year, was working, so I don't really know anything about his game other than by stats, but if he is going to take over for Jahii, those will be some big little shoes to fill.

I got some buddies that go to NAU that are good friends with him and apparently he told them it's ASU. Not sure how accurate that info is, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was GCU either. He's definitely got the talent to start for a Pac12 team, though.
