Figured I'd make a series thread since we're on a little streak. We head to Houston for a 3 game series against the surprising Astros.

Houston is really trying win their division as seen by the trades they've made. They are a tough team to beat, but I think we can take 2 out of 3.

Keuchel v. Hellickson. Talk about a mismatch. That's a loss.

We will be lucky to take one. This is a retooled and massively improved team that actually did something at the deadline. The D-backs just sat back and cherished their turds.

I was just going through team stats when I found this interesting one. The Dbacks have the lowest number of batters HBP in either league at 23. While the Pirates top the list at 59. For all the flack the media gives the Dbacks for retaliation, it works. Their batters are rarely getting hit this season. And what's really funny is that the Dbacks are the 3rd lowest team in MLB at hitting batters, one right behind STL & NYM. And guess who leads the league in hitting batters, PIT with 52. Coincidence? I think not.
