Anyone ever made a bow?

I am interested in making a bow from yew wood. Found a couple yew trees over last few months and did research. Ancient bows have been found still intact from bows made from that tree.

YouTube vids are quite complex when making the style I want, a smaller one.

Any help?

Well, what I want is a yew wood bow that is boiled to recurved a few inches from ends. Also want the elk antler in the middle for a little extra pop.

I am not going to hunt with it. If I do it would be to take a lucky shot at vermen. Mainly just to have it to show off. Maybe shoot targets every once in a while.

Need ideas of what works what doesn't essentially
