Long story short:
3rd Team for Bootle and Barry (Media)
HM: Carlos Davis (coaches), Gifford, Barry (coaches), Khalil Davis (Media), Isaac Armstrong

Obviously better than no one in 2017, but still a long ways to go. I was a little disappointed Bootle wasn't higher, he had the 2nd most passes defended in Big Ten play, but i guess the sexy stat is INTs and he didn't get any. Always weird when a guy like Jordan Fuller OSU makes 2nd team Media, but only HM in Coaches, similar with Brooks from MD only 2nd team Coaches and HM Media. How MD can have 3 2nd team guys per the coaches while giving up basically the same points per game as NU is kinda crazy.

will be interesting to see what happens on the offensive side.

no one knew about bootle before this year and people saw how many points were given up and just concentrated on the offense. It will be better next year.

Haskins QB and Offensive Player of year
Moore both Freshmen and WR of the year

hard to argue on either. thought Martinez had a chance at maybe Freshmen, give WR to Moore but Freshmen to Martinez, but i guess not.

I was thinking Haskins was a RsFr but he's an RsSoph, in any event its no comparison with the recruits he has to play with vs what AM is

not much to argue from a Nebraska perspective. Parris had more TDs but less yards. Tyler Johnson seemed like the better pick by the media. I was actually surprised JD made it after missing the last 2 games, but i guess his yardage total was still good enough for #6 in the BIG. don't really get the Anthony McFarland love, less yards and TDs and way worse receiving stats than Ozigbo.

not entirely convinced Wiscy needed 4 guys on the 1st team OL (one slipped to 2nd team in media). but then again, i don't watch the OL that closely unless i'm looking for something specific. don't disagree with Nebraska's placement there, really interesting though how you can be #3 in the league in total yards and not have someone get recognized on the OL. imagine where the offense could go with some better guys up front.
