No, I graduated from UT, but my wife was offered a package to spend 5 years in the Morgan Keegan, now Raymond James office up in Mt. Pleasant (yeah I know I'm a dick for making her drive from J.I. to Mt Pleasant, but I'm just a little too redneck for Mt. Pleasant) and then come back to Nashville. I didn't really think the mud stunk either this time either, especially with the tides this time a year constantly a little higher. JI was a great place, we had a house on Church Creek, right near the JI high school, that had a dock so it was sweet. I didn't want to invest in a skiff or anything knowing I'd want a master craft as soon as I got back on lake water. It was always great to throw leftovers in a crab pot and pull up enough blues to enjoy with some beers in the evenings.
lol. You were talking about the pluff mud. I thought you meant the paper mill. Yea, lowtide has a unique smell, but I enjoy that one. the paper mill ........... not so much.
