A ridiculous rumor on GMFB

This has to be ridiculous, but someone said..."where there's smoke..."

GMFB suggests ridiculous Nick Foles trade that would get Eagles the No. 3 overall pick

It would be fun to speculate what we could do though.

It wasn't a rumor.....

I watched the clip.....there wasn't any smoke either. That was nothing but a morning show that has WAYYYY too much time to fill.

The Jets sprang three 2nd rounders to move from 6 to 3.....to move back to 32 and take a QB they would have to put major outlay into within the year? Foles has proven he is much more dependable then an unproven rookie. But, he will cost a load more over the short term.

None of it adds up to anything more than media with a lot of time to fill and looking for hits and chatter, which is the only thing I see them being successful at here.

That said.....its fun to play what if's....if I remember the mock they had had Barkley going one and Rosen going two. So, if I were to go by that and we move Foles + 32 for the 3 I would say Chubb or Nelson.

It would be a big player to get....but still doesnt feel worth giving a dependable back up for this year and the 32 (which we can turn into more than one pick) for anyone, sans Barkley.
