The Sharks goaltending has been horribly mismanaged for a long time. Stalock should be getting 20-25 starts this year but he's probably going to end up in the 8-10 starts range.

Should be another win for the Sharks, though the Flames haven't look half-bad. Monahan has looked very good for them so far.

Once Thornton wins a Cup for San Jose then Drew can start talking about retiring jerseys and hall of fame induction but until that happens, I'm loathe to give any of the current Shark vets that sort of praise, especially when they're letting the Flames get back into the game after leading 4-1 in the 3rd.

Next two games are Detroit and Boston so you know Niemi is starting those. Stalock will most likely see his first action in one of the Montreal/Ottawa back to back games.
