Game Thread: 8.23 Weekday Day Game -- what could go wrong?

Congrats fellas. Giants kept grinding today. From my perspective, the Phil’s can’t pitch Kimbrel in extra innings. He’s got an issue tipping pitches from behind and the ghost runner situation isn’t ideal for that. Some of his worst outings this year have come in the extra innings situation.

One thing to remember, the story changes each week or so...Arizona was plummeting, now they are 8-2 in their last 10 and have the same record as the Giants. We can maybe get back to winning again too.

This "win" didn't feel good. They did hit today, so that's something.

I don't think they make the post season.
