Jeter makes the plays if he can get to the ball, that has always been the case with him. Arod as he has aged has become a liability in the field.
It becomes what do you want:

1 a player that hits 270 but has limited range at Short.

2 a player that hits 150 but makes all the plays.

Most fans would agree with me that the sooner Arod is out of baseball the better.
