Regardless of where you stand on HanRam's worth.. A swinging K has to make you smile

Agreed. I want the guy to fail.....miserably.

Well shit, that's not gonna help. 3-0 bad guys.

Shit, his current OPS+ with the dodgers is 232. We need a lot more swinging K from him.

My take is that after the honeymoon period is over, his antics will get tiresome. Everyone gets along during wins but true personalities are revealed during adversity.

Like the dbacks and Rockies before though, a hot two months = division crown.

I hope that the results from this series would lead the dodgers to be complacent with their current roster and motivate the Giants to make more upgrades.

3 runs in 26 innings so far...and on Friday I felt we were lucky to get those 3.

Can't win if we can't score.

This^. Maybe the Giants can swing a positive out of this huge negative of a series so far.

Played from behind all series long

Dodgers playing with confidence. Giants injuries and holes exposed.

That's fine, 3 more series against them. Let's see if they can keep this up

That could happen. One thing the Marlins and Dodgers have in common is neither have a kick-you-in-the-ass clubhouse leader. So things could go south for them. I still think Colletti gets a starter though, and probably on the cheap side.

That was a loong double to center

Friday night was a killer. One big hit in several situations and the Giants win running away. And, with Panda out, it would have not been totally unxpected to lose two of three.

I would like the rumors of them getting a guy like Pence to subside, he would even further upgrade their lineup.

Yep. If nate's drive to center couldve gotten over Kemp's head, it would be an acceptable series.

edit: acceptable is the wrong word..palatable

Pence doesn't worry me - he's a bench player.

 don't start

But seriously, the addition of the player isn't just stats alone. It's the net effect overall to the team, including confidence

Fit and motivation are big - especially with guys who have already made their money. I still remember Bhaakon (from the Disney Forum) arguing that Pat the Bat would have zero positive impact on the Giants in 2010 because he had sucked in his last 600 AB.

And yeah, like Cinderella CarBelt had a positive influence last year.
