Assuming they lose tonight, they will be 15-28 in the last 43 games since June 9. It's not just the hitting at home that's the problem. Their overall game has been sloppy for a quarter of the season now.

Let's not jump to any hasty conclusions, there. After all, it is AT&T Park, and they have exactly no hits in the 5th inning, after giving up five runs in the first two innings, so let's not chalk up the "L" too soon.

Morse can go, I've seen enough. 3 RBI's in July, none in the last ten games. After Pablo singles, he immediately GIDP. Where are those diapers?

And Colvin follows with the FPOM.

Perfect!

I.....I'm not sure what to even say. Leadoff hit (our first of the game) on the first pitch, then a three-pitch GIDP then a FPOM

Just.........why?

Sandoval's single should be the drive of the game, breaking up the no-hitter against that Cy Young candidate Worley. If the Giants are lucky, they can win a game in this series to avoid the 0-6 homestand.

I don't mean to put this on Crawford (we've discussed our hole in CF, LF, 2B to death) but if you are going to hit below .240 (his career BA is .240), 20th amongst SS's in Fld %, 25th in dWar 0.4

How much longer is he our guy?

Bonehead Blanco at it again. This is where they feel the effects of Gary Brown being a bust.

This is well down the list of our worries. I'm sure it doesn't help his defense when there is a new 2B every week or so. And he is 8th in OPS, out of 24 that qualified. OPS is a better measure of a hitter's value than batting average.

Maybe, MAYBE, if there was another SS in the system for us to look at, but there isn't. No one else close.

Even if we signed Castillo, and Pagan came back, it would be Castillo to 2B, I would guess. Crawford is going nowhere.

Have to wonder if anyone in that clubhouse has the guts to stand up and say anything, or they just continue with their feeble ways headed nowhere. At least back in the day, someone would flip the postgame spread. Now, you can't hurt anyone's feelings.

BREAKING NEWS!

Panik walks!

Probably the first Giant tonight to see more than four pitches.

AND immediately, if not sooner, erased on Gerald's GIDP.

Giants have 20 official at bats and have made 21 outs. That's tough to do.

Just a thought, but would Starlin Castro be available with the Cubs acquisition of Addison Russell? Maybe a change in teams would do Castro some good.

That just isn't this clubhouse. We don't have guys who will flip a table, start a shouting match or point fingers. It's a relaxed clubhouse with guys that will stay quiet and not point blame. Just the type of guys Sabean likes (nothing really wrong with it as long as you are winning semi-consistently)

I agree it's behind LF, 2B, CF for the future, SP for the future.

He does have OPS and OBP, definitely have to give him that and I don't expect a change. (Plus these are also just frustrations and finding a new pińata). Just another one of those things where, maybe we aren't as well off as we thought
