A split will be fine, and very doableI'm not excited about this series...
A split would the minimum and a little disappointing. We should win today and Thursday. Their hitting is awful right now. If we win the two we should and split the other two I'd be pleased.A split will be fine, and very doable
baseball is weird though. Any one game just about anything can happen. White Sox lost 2 of 3 to the As then won 2 of 3 from the BravesRest of the rotation for road trip --

wasn't runners on the corners...it was second and third. HUUUUGE crap AB there. A sac and we have a 3-2 lead and are in line for a victory if they can't play.Giants put runners on the corners (against our old friend, Alex Young) with no outs. Then Conforto grounds out to 1st base and . . .
Rain delay.
Somehow my brain translated Flores' double when Pederson was on first to runners at the corners. And yes, Conforto just making the out productive could had made it an easy call for game.wasn't runners on the corners...it was second and third. HUUUUGE crap AB there. Just a massive missed opportunity there by Forto.
Even if he got a hit that scored 2, the game would still have been suspended. The Reds would not have had their ups yet.suspended game. If we lose, this is on Conforto....
I don't think that's how it works, Cal. If the game is not tied, as long as they've played 4.5 innings, its over. Rain shortened win. No requirement for each team to have the same number of at bats.Even if he got a hit that scored 2, the game would still have been suspended. The Reds would not have had their ups yet.
No reason for a roast, just a discussion…I don't think that's how it works, Cal. If the game is not tied, as long as they've played 4.5 innings, its over. Rain shortened win. No requirement for each team to have the same number of at bats.
If I'm wrong, roast me but I'm pretty sure I'm right.
