Mild 1st period. Kings getting the better of the shots and physical play so far too. I don't think there is going to be any retribution on Brown it looks like. 4 shots on goal ain't going to cut it.

what a butt kicking. I think the sharks have one, possibly two scoring chances while LA probably has 10. Stalock is playing SO unbelievably well! If it wasnt for him, it could be 3-0 or 4-0 easy. His rebound control is amazing and the way he pushed out to cut off Kopitars spin-around point blank shot was amazing. Great confidence and aggressiveness. Nemo woulda been deep in the net and had no chance.

Very impressive and if they win this game its all stalock.

Not liking this matchup. Kings just seem to have more of a dynamic offense compared to the Sharks.

no couture, torres, hertl, and havlat will have an adverese effect on your offense. The kings are completely healthy and could only score 1

Stalock Very Good  :thumb:

Rest of Team  :burt: :yawning:

I personally didn't like how the team responded at all, towards Brown or the Kings physical play. I wasn't expecting the Sharks to take a cheap shot on Brown or anything, but it seemed like nobody challenged him or gave him a good ole face wash. Maybe the depleted Sharks roster had something to do with the poor play, but nevertheless the Sharks need toughness to play against the kings.

Oh well, on to the next game.....:suds:

Where is Brent Burns? Would be nice if he chipped in a goal or two here soon with a depleted lineup. He is playing on the top line. Pavs and Thornton seem to be scoring but he has been doing a Marty Havlat right now. Somewhat invisible.

Burns makes space for Pavelski, as soon as Burns was pulled from that line Pav's lost all that room.
