I think he looks terrible. He telegraphs every pass.

He did for a half, anyway. He probably did enough to stick on the PS, but I don't think there's any way he makes the active roster.

It's going to be tough to fit him in. Gabbert looking much better than last year is also not helping his chances. I agree that he probably makes the practice squad.

The pass rush is always a problem with the 49ers. It will remain one. The problem this year is the weak DBs and LBs with the exception of Bowman. The combination of a weak pass rush and porous secondary is deadly.

Don't think the secondary will be bad with two all pro safeties, brock. I will guess Acker will get the other starting corner job. He has looked really good so far. Well see how he holds up

What? I checked the All Pro list for the last several seasons and did not see Bethea's or Reid's names anywhere. Did they sign some guys I'm not aware of?
It has been fun watching Jarrod Hayne but I think the better return guy seems to be number 18. he looks really fast and finds the seams. I hope Hayne makes the team. Its a cool story. I like the way Hyde looks and some of the young receivers. But as long as we have a guy who cannot use the middle of the field as our passre we have little chance of success. Speed doesn't work if you only throw to the sidelines.
