Pagan is out as is Morse for the entire series. This Giants team is completely different without Pagan setting the table. I actually like Morse playing bc he is such a defensive liability in left field with the way our guys are hitting.

There was a stretch where the Giants were the hottest hitting team in baseball. The Man Diego marine layer, loss of Pagan and Morse and 4.5 lead might lead to a meek Giants team at the plate. Confidence may be lacking right now.

However, the Giants have shown over the last few years that the play best when down and out. So we will see.

That would be amazing and, in my humble opinion, a huge victory for Selig on his way out. He was wise in revising the playoff format to allow for compelling races down the stretch. And if the Dodgers can face the Giants in the playoffs, more power to him.

I can't count the Giants out as they have proven they can go on a tear with the best of them this year. You have your best starters against us and always play well in LA. furthermore, this team is better than anyone when counted out. If you win tonight, your team will be fired up for the next two and we who knows which Dan Haren shows up. I do have to think Chavez Ravine will be rocking tonight. We are now the bitter, 25 year ringless fans.

I don't hate the Dodgers. If it comes down to the Giants needing to be beat, hell yeah, I'm a Dodgers fan. Guilty as charged.

But no one was louder and more obnoxious back in '10 or '11 (can't remember) at Petco for that last series when we saw the Dodgers wheeling in the beer and champagne to celebrate clinching. What happened? We swept your arrogant asses right outta there!

They tend to do that a lot, Peavy is 13-2 lifetime against the Dodgers, he's beaten us with every team he's ever been on. I hated the fact that he landed on the Giants because I knew that no matter how bad he gets, he'll always pitch a good game against the Dodgers.

Haren, however, has been a pleasant surprise recently, it'll really give us a lot more confidence if he can continue being a solid #4 in the playoffs.
