One can even argue with the growth of Reaves floor game that as a Plan B option to Point LeBron Reaves is a better option than CP3 because Reaves isn’t going to get all delusional about his role on the team. Ironically, the place for CP3 is likely going back to the Clippers if they decide to run it back with PG and Kawhi. He’s what you wanted John Wall to be.

I hope you’re kidding, the Suns won more games without CP3 against Denver then they did with him. There’s no way they get better if he came back. And Ayton was like -53 in the series, he would’ve made even less of a difference than Paul if he played game 6.

tough series to call here. the last matchup was before the trade deadline. westbrook was still on the team and lebron and davis didnt play. i dont think 3 point shooting is going to be as big of a thing as it was for golden state. its not that denver cant shoot the 3 its that they arent going to often shoot 40-50 like golden st. and likely arent going to make 20 something 3's. the FT difference wont be the same as GS series but could go in lakers favor as far as foul trouble on denver. im not sure denver has the same type of andrew wiggins defender to throw at lebron. if they can steal a game in denver i like the lakers chances.

Most think it will go deep regardless. It’s difficult to keep the Lakers off the FT line bc they are ultra aggressive. Can’t commit stupid fouls but that also means Denver has to play their best defensive series of the playoffs

Looks like people here are more rational. You wouldn’t believe how many Laker fans on Twitter I’ve seen that are predicting sweep. Obviously everyone is a homer for their team but you’d think they’re dead serious.

Paul played 1 game in this series.

That is what I mean. Ayton was awful. It was as if he wasn’t on the court. Would have been better if he wasn’t.

This was a team built to have 2 elite players and 2 more very good ones to support.

Well, those guys didn’t do their job for different reasons, so of course the Suns aren’t going to be anywhere near their potential.
