I would not be mad at them at all if they traded back into the 2nd round to grab a Torrence or one of the centers.

When they picked Martin my initial reaction was another corner? They I did a little digging and realized he's probably gonna play a lot of Buffalo Nickle.

I'm pretty sure that's why Detroit traded up. I think they really wanted Branch and settled for Martin.

I was kinda sitting there saying "okay Ron, I see you." "You're trying to really be shutdown next year." Kind of a head scratcher but I see what Ron is trying to do. Just hope it works for.his sake.

Martin is McCanns replacement. McCann played lot of snaps last year.

Our weakness on defense has been secondary (maybe a little LB).

Get the Defense as close to lock down as possible, take the weight off the red shirt, and see where we go

That was my fear. I like the Martin pick as long as it was to make Curl's life easier. Not to replace him.

This kid destroyed the combine. Better Athlete than Branch and can play anywhere in the secondary. Kiem did say they wanted to address the nickel position so they did. Our 3rd round pick is like last in the round they didnt want to wait. He was a 3rd rounder.

They had their pick of several OLineman which I thought should have been the pick.

My thought all along for this draft was CB, OL, OL
