The most unnerving thing about this organization (and some posters) is how much they are ruled by small-minded, unimaginative, conservative defeatism. Take for example your statement "WR is a deep poison in this year's draft could get one in round 2."

This is true but you want the best at all positions and this line of thinking merely gets you a lesser abled body. It's akin to looking for the best wife for yourself, finding her only to defer to Gretchen who can't pass the looks, interpersonal grace, or smell test, but she is a female by design so she'll do.

Hamilton and an RB huh? It's an awfully strange way to address the top two needs of this team (WR1A and QB)

They could be after BPA. The team hasn't given up on Samuel and Brown. If Hamilton is gone, I wouldn't be surprised if Stingley is the pick at #11. I do think WR is a possibility at #11 it just depends whos there.

good article
I agree with #1... There's not one QB in this draft that grades out in valuation as a top half of the first-round selection. There's much better value in getting one in round two just as long as their names are Willis, Pickett, Corral, and/or Ridder. Wince isn't the answer and QB still remains a huge missing piece.

Disagree with #2... a 3-5 year rebuild tell a majority of your team that they won't be around when and IF they become SB contenders. (that's the goal right??) Ron Rivera M.U.S.T produce this year, in a league that insists upon evaluating "what have you done for me lately?" 7-9, 7-10, and 8-9, 9-8 seasons are career killers.

#3 is plain stupid... Drafting defense again in a league intent on promoting offense over defense makes zero sense. Washington over the last two seasons has averaged 19.7 points per game (2021) and 20.9 points per game (2020), there are only a handful of teams equaling or averaging less and that number of teams is dwindling rapidly.

I agree with #4... Weak at QB equals a desperate need for more weapons to help cover up QB deficiencies. This is a no-brainer.

I agree with #5... drafting a QB late is a waste of resources. What on earth are you hoping for another Brady or worse a Cousins. One is a once in ten lifetimes hit the other is woefully mediocre. Either way, good luck with that!!

Injured his stock dropped, fully recovered he still is the best WR in this draft. I know that there a people who frown upon injured players but I'm not one of them. If he's there at 11, don't walk or run with his name on the card... FLY!!!

Curtis Samuel is the slot receiver, not your WR 1 or 1A, they have corners, could use another, but the most glaring need beyond QB is WR.

BTW: how does Finlay present a photo of Carson Wince a with what appears to be a serious post, suggest that with that guy on board, Washingto's more glaring need is corner.

Who knows at this point. It's lying season. If true, I think they have decided they have to be right on Wentz and are gonna give him as much help as possible. We keep hearing RB and TE is in play as well.

I think Walker is very much in play in Round 2. I think Hall will be gone by the time we pick. TE could be had in round 4. Could be an all offense draft.

I hope they don't go RB in round two. There are some guys I really like that we can get in round 6 and 7.
