yeah, needless to say I've been in hiding since that.

Simply couldn't hit FT's....we went all year hitting FT's., yet couldn't do anything against UCLA. Easily would have won in regular time if we had been able to hit the FT's.

Honestly though, I'm gutted. I've been a bball fan for mostly my whole life, and have only seen one great year (Elite Eight back before my days at Bama, so that was 2003).

This Bama team gave me my first SEC tourney championship, and had a great chance to make the Elite Eight (our furthest in the tournament) and even the Final Four....but alas it wasn't meant to be.

I am starting to hate UCLA, I was there in 2000 when my preseason #2 Alabama started off against UCLA in football. UCLA went 3 and out and punted to Freddie Milons who ran it for a TD. It was 7-0 Bama and I was sure it was a Championship team. That team ended up around 3-9.

Now UCLA has shattered my Bball hopes for this year. These seniors were great, and I hate that Petty and Jones ended their Alabama careers like that. I'm happy Reese at least made the play of the game, but really did feel like a punch to the gut losing to this UCLA team because we couldn't do the basics.

Regardless of whether UCLA wins or loses they shocked the world. Their gameplan has been essentially the exact opposite of what every person said they should do, and probably not what Gonzaga prepped for. I don’t think there is a person in the world that thought if Gonzaga reached 80 UCLA would be within 20.
