His lack of resume has a lot more to do with the team he's spent his career on than how good he is.

I'm pretty sure you're being sarcastic here, but he hasn't had a "next level" type of supporting cast to continually get out of the 1st or 2nd rounds in the western conference since he's been in Rip City.
They are competitive, and have been since he's arrived, but a lot of the other "usual suspect" teams in the WC have upgraded just about every season, with the possible exception of 1 or 2, while some of the other lower ranked teams have emerged into the top 8-10.
