I've been an Arsenal supporter since the days of George Graham, and I can't for the life of me figure out Wenger's actions as of late, especially regarding Sanchez. With a player of his caliber, you either give him what he wants, or sell him and get either other players or a nice haul of cash, Why would you ever let him go on a free? IMO, he should be shopping him out to teams in other leagues, specifically Serie A, I think Alexis would do well there at either Juve, Milan, or Inter, and they all have the cash to spend. But he does have a history of selling good players to league rivals.

Liverpool still hoping to sign Thomas Lemar and Virgil Van Dyke tomorrow (and keep Coutinho). Keeping Coutinho seems the likeliest of the three right now.

If they get those two and keep Coutinho, they'll definitely be a favorite to take the title.

Spurs picked up some depth and possibly a new starting right back in Serge Aurier today.

Unless they grab Barkley (and it doesn't appear anyone will till winter), it appears Spurs' transfer window is closed.

Decent job though: Davinson Sanches, Juan Foyth, Serge Aurier, and a backup goalkeeper.

All they lost were Kyle Walker who had fallen out of favor with Pochentino and Kevin Wimmer who wasn't really on their depth chart anymore.

He wants to go to Spurs. They'll offer him in the winter for sure. No reason to make a big offer i the summer when he can't play till winter anyhow.

The bigger story here is Chelsea. That's like 3 players in a row now that got offers from Chelsea and said "nah".
