Tayler Katoa to decide soon
Sarell has an official visit at UW this weekend, just before the cut off for the no contact dead period this month. He had UW, Stanford, and USC coaches all visit him in home this week.
There are a couple of other kids coming in this weekend for visits as well.
Sumner’s Connor Wedington decommits from UWConnor Wedington decommitted. No word on where or why.
I understand kids get flipped for whatever reasons but this case bothers me more than most. I followed this kid via the TNT (Tacoma News Tribune), Seattle Times and Rivals and coach Pete put that little ungrateful prick on the map. After he made the kid an offer he got the kid into a couple of camps this last summer. The kid excelled at the camps and the offers started coming in and next thing you know he's been upped to 4* status. What gets me though is the kid went out of his way to get as many pics of himself with coach Pete as possible while praising Petersen left and right. Foster Sarrell on the other hand has played it cool and not run his fat gob like that little fvk over at Sumner. One last thing ... it depends on what you plan on majoring in regards to the whole Stanford vs Washington academic thing. UW has Stanford beat in a few majors such as medicine. UW is no Stanford but it certainly is no slouch in regards to academics. It's rated 15th globally.Meh, hard to hate on someone who flips because of the level of education he was offered.
I think it's going to be awhile before coach Pete looks at anymore Sumner kids.Appears the McCaffrey declaring caught many at stanford offguard who assumed he'd be back for 2017. They're now forced to get another RB in this class and groomed quickly for depth.
While its hard to turn down a scholy offer from Stanford, I still question a flip at this time when hes been committed this long to UW.
Oh well....happens to everyone.
