Pretty long list of free agents that the Patriots have to deal with. 14 Unrestricted free agents and 6 restricted. No question that at least 2/3 of these guys will be gone. The draft and other teams' free agents may get some interest from the Patriots. Hopefully, Belichick will look closely at free agent offensive linemen, especially LT and RT.

Yeah, it is a tough class... if it were me:

1.) Hightower - Pay the man.
2.) Ryan - Try to do a hometown discount...he is a solid #3 corner at least.
3.) Bennett - I won't break the bank for him...but could be generous.
4.) Harmon - Won't break the bank as we have Richards in reserve...but I like having a solid #3 safety for our big nickel packages.
5.) Butler - Pay the man.
6.) Branch - It depends....he's great..but if we can find a similar player in FA for 50% off...sign me up.
7.) Bolden & King...we need them for ST's...
8.) Mingo...who knows...he won't be commanding big $$ though.
9.) Develin ...not breaking the bank for him..but want him back.
10.) Blount...wow...what a RB...I'd overpay a little bit...

IF NE wants to sign Bennett, they better not bring a shitty offer to the table. What he has done for this team, blocking, playing hurt, settling for the #2 role behind Gronk. The man deserves to be paid.

2 guys for next yr we don't have to worry about is HT and Butler. Butler will play, no one is giving a 1st rd pick for him. HT will be tagged or extended...leaning towards the tag.
