Disco refers to a band called Panic At The Disco. I agree it's dumb, we can do better. Maybe Joey Bats? I know that's Jose Bautista's nick but we don't post about him.

Duffman is also >>>>>> than Skeeter. tzill can keep using Skeeter in his BoB-like way, the rest of us will use the correct nick.

By the way, I assume BoB is either banned or dead, anyone know which?
Not banned, and not dead. He made a long-assed post on the entertainment forum earlier today.

McGIDP can stay in Florida for all I care.

Love to get a closer look at Jones in Augusta, he is tearing it up and should move up to San Jose.

Why not give Lollis a try in the OF?

What would you think of the Giants looking at Kirk Nieuwenhuis? Playing with the Mutts' AAA team. He's from APU, and seems a good hitter and fielder.

Osich trying to close out the Sacto game, just gave up a run to make it 14-7 in the 9th.

Meanwhile, the DBacks rally to whip the Doggies, 10-6.

We are now even in the loss column, and 1/2 game back.

The Giants have so many break-outs this year, each is getting lost in the noise. It is getting hard to keep track all the legit prospects that are developing.

We may just be scratching the surface of this run, fellas.

Hunter Cole is getting promoted VERY aggressively. What I liked most about Beede's line: 12 groundouts, 1 flyout, 5 strikeouts.

It may not be showing in the numbers [yet], but I'm hearing very positive things about Chris Shaw. Very healthy, sweet swing. His power will play anywhere, even AT&T.

Hunter Cole (another Hunter for the Giants), began as a 2b, but committed 9 errors in 25 games. He switched to OF and has committed 4 errors in 54 games.

Gerrit Cole (Pirates) was born in SoCal, Hunter Cole born in Georgia.

Obviously not a good line. I don't he's been converted to the bullpen yet though. He got so little work his last outing, they probably used today (his normal bullpen day) to get him some extra pitches.

That said, I think he's destined for the Pen. I think the Giants will give him another year though. With Beede's rise, Mella's rise, and Mejia's return, they can afford to be patient.
