can't find many pictures that aren't way too big to post here, but it looks pretty nice. Read an article about the changes, some of them I can get onboard with. A few:

-Predicted 5.0L that comes stock at 500hp. If they can get stock 500HP then with aftermarket work it would easily push way beyond that.

- IRS is back. Not thrilled about this, but will make it a better track car

- Should be offered with a turbocharged I-4. I bet that sound like shit, but will be good for people wanting the look and speed without the gas bill.

- This is the car that is expected to launch the 10 speed auto tranny. Yikes.

I took a long, long test drive in the new Jeep that has an 8 speed tranny and it was really, really nice. It's sooo smooth, responsive and adds like 5 mpg on the highway. So, it really makes sense in a stang...especially with shift paddles there to use anyway.

So I've never owned one of those CVT, are makers getting away from them? I figured it would be the wave of the future but if car companies are investing in trannies with more gears then perhaps CVT isn't the next big idea.

Everything I read about Nissan's CVT was negative as hell. Experts say it would bog-down when you stomp it and it's miserable in heavy traffic and shouldn't be used for towing. But even more than that, they seem to be really expensive to repair and replace.

A total generalization, but the CVT seemed to be more fragile and more expensive. Even Mini Cooper had a class action lawsuit about their CVT. Nissan and Honda have had a few. That alone is enough of 'em.

...and they're bringing back the 4 cylinder option for mustangs. But its a 4 banger that puts out 250 HP which is more than my '88 5.0. Still, who wants a muscle care that sounds like a pissed off bumble bee.
