This Saturday Nebraska will be hosting a Junior day for the 2015 class and they already have some prospects coming to check it out. Nebraska got Monte Harrison and Peyton Newell to junior day last year and that ended up pretty well. The list is shaping up to look pretty decent so far and will add more and more as the week progresses.

Junior day visits are all unofficial visits so prospects must pay their own way there. That means if a prospect is coming to a junior day there is definitely interest.

2015 Junior Day Attendees - 2/1/2014

Eric Lee: 4-Star CB (Littleton, CO) - Lee has been to Nebraska multiple times and is one of the top CBs in the 2015 class. His father went to school and worked at UNL. Lee already has a Nebraska offer after going to camp in 2013.

Michael Decker: NYR OG (Omaha, NE) - Decker just got a Nebraska offer last week. Widely regarded as one of the, if not the, highest rated players in the state for the 2015 class Decker is going to be a highly sought after target for multiple schools. He's this year's DJ Foster.

Calvin Strong: 3-Star RB (Omaha, NE) - Strong is one of the best RBs in Nebraska prep history. He amassed over 3,000 total yards (mostly rushing) last season and will look to eclipse that mark again this year. Strong has yet to receive a Nebraska offer but the Huskers are definitely interested. The problem will always be his grades. If Strong can have a strong showing in the classroom, he'll garner that offer.

Kendall Bussey: NYR ATH (New Orleans, LA) - Nebraska's Louisiana connection is looking to remain strong as they are in on one of the most intriguing athletes in the state. Bussey is small (5'8") so he will not be highly rated but he will be highly sought after given his speed and versatility. Nebraska offered him two weeks ago and he's good friends with current Husker plegde Glenn Irons.

Drayton Carlberg: NYR OT (Minneapolis, MN) - Drayton has yet to garner an offer but likes Nebraska. Currently has offers Minnesota, Pitt and Rutgers.

Matt Clark: NYR OG (Syracuse, NE) - At 6'5" 290 lbs Clark is an intriguing prospect. He's also an undefeated heavy weight wrestler. He's going to have to do the camp circuit to get his name out but Nebraska and Wisconsin have both shown early interest. A junior day is a big deal for him.

Carlos Davis: 3-Star DE (Blue Springs, MO) - The Davis twins are some of the top targets for Nebraska in 2015. Carlos is the a Defensive End that COULD slide inside if needed. He ran a 4.6 forty at the Army-All-America combine and has told his HS coach that Nebraska is the favorite for his services. Both Davis brother are a package deal.

Khalil Davis: 3-Star DT (Blue Springs, MO) - Khalil comes a bit more highly regarded. He's bigger than his brother and just as fast. He's a 3-tech with the ability to play the 5, the 1 or even shade the Center. He's also intimated that Nebraska is in the lead since they offered.

Christian Gaylord: NYR OT (Baldwin City, KS) - Gaylord is one of the top players in Kansas in 2015 and holds a ton of interest from the top programs in the land. He is also attending Wisconsin's junior day where he will likely garner an offer.

Grant Schmidt: 4-Star OT (Sioux Falls, SD) - Schmidt, a former teammate of current Husker Nate Gerry, is one of the top OTs in the midwest and just got a Nebraska offer last week. This will be a big weekend for Grant as he continues to refine the recruitment process. He's seen as a bit of a project but is one of the most raw talented OL in the nation.

Avery Anderson: 3-Star S (Colorado Springs, CO) ( - Anderson is currently committed to ASU but things can change. Nebraska offered Anderson a while ago but the addition of Charlton Warren as DB coach could pay dividends here. Charlton was well known and respected in the Colorado Springs area and is likely to thank for getting Anderson on campus. Anderson is a 3-star on 247 currently but a 4-star nearly every where else. It's likely he ends up one of the top safeties in the nation when all is said and done.

Austin Conway: NYR ATH (Colorado Springs, CO) - Conway is a 4-star basketball player but will be making the trek to Lincoln with friends Avery Anderson and Eric Lee for Nebraska's football junior day. He is a DT QB in high school but likely a slot receiver at the next level. He holds a Nebraska offer.

I'll update it throughout the week as more visitors are listed. Because it is an unofficial the list will remain fluid.

When can coaches start talking to kids about a university I remember Kiffen offeing at 7 year old or something like that? I guess what I am asking is can you start talking to players in midget or peewee football. Or do they have to be a certain age. or year in school

You can talk to them whenever you want. You can recruit them whenever you want, but you can't "officially" offer a scholarship until the fall of their Senior year. You can verbally offer one, but not officially with a letter.

Bump for Davis twins... they are both 1 point away from being 4-stars on 247Sports... Rivals has Khalil as a 4-star.

had to delete Jaelan Austin from the visit list, looks like he can't make it to the Junior Day for financial reasons:
