UNLV ended last year with the same crappy record as usual, but if you actually paid attention to them they made some progress last year under Hauck, with a lot of returning players I think they breakthrough for a 6-6 record this year

BTW, UNLV returns the most starters in the MWC this year with 19

8 on offense, 10 on defense, 1 on special teams

I think they can win three games. That Nick Sherry kid is a solid qb, for UNLV anyway. The secondary is still horseshit, but they did at least compete in most games.

I think they're better than 3 games, Tim Cornett is a pretty good running back too, one of the more underrated guys out there I think.

I got jumped on for being so pro UNLV on a general board thread earlier this summer. I honestly see 5 games I like UNLV to win:

Minnesota
Central Michigan
Western Illinois
New Mexico
Hawaii

They could be a "A" game with a bounce or two their way against AFA away from Bowling.
