Since we all know this season is over, time to start looking to next year as always. I figure we will finish 6-10 and have about the 9-10 pick. Who should we take? There is no RB worth a high 1st rounder. Not sure I see a Safety worth it either. Do we spend that high of a pick on a #2 WR? Or grab another DE, which this draft is deep in? I don't see us taking another 1st round CB. I'd love to get Jarvis Jones but there is no way he will fall to us. Someone I think we should look hard at is ND MLB Manti Te'o. Put him in the middle with Burfict on one side and you have the makings of a great LBing core.

I too have given up on the season, I can only see 1 possible win (Oak) so theyre looking at 4-12. Thats a top 5 pick maybe top 3. They probably will grab a pass rusher, WR or offensive tackle at that high a pick. Did anyone see the UC-Syr game, Syracuse safety (Shamarko Thomas SR) knocking out folks right and left, hardest hitting safety I've seen this year so far.

I think we beat OAK, KC (they are worse than OAK) and prob SD or some random win we didnt expect.

From what I've read I'm not sure there is a top 5 type OT in this draft. Pass rush is a possibility. I'm not sure you take a #2 WR in the top 10.

That's what I'm thinking. Dude is the exact meaning of defensive play maker.

Only reason I pass on him is if Jarvis Jones falls to us.

agree with the positions of need, but I wouldn't waste a 2nd round pick on Gio Bernard. I don't think he'll get picked up that early

I would also consider Star Lotulelei (DT from Utah) with our first pick. I'm not a Peko fan.

With Lattimore now hurt, and with the season he is having, he is probably the top RB in the country, at least top 2.

I don't think Latuleli will be there when we pick.

I would rather go after Montee Ball from Wisconsin.

1st - Te'o, MLB
2A - Ball, RB

Ball is an absolute no for me. 1. Name the last Wisconsin RB to even be remotely good in the NFL. 2. Without an absolutely dominant O-Line this year, he just isn't as good. I wouldn't pick him before the 5th round. I think he is the 2nd most overrated player in the country.

We'll have another "kickass" draft followed by another sucky season, because we are the Bengals......book it.......that's what we do....we have "great" drafts that for some reason never work out.....blame it all on hobspin......

As of now, he is the number 1 rb prospect. He'll be projected to go late late first or in the second round until he is measured at the combine.

Star is a great player though.

Who do you think is the most overrated? Barkley? Not many draft analysts/scouts have Montee Ball as a highly rated prospect (he is around the 8th-10th best RB prospect)

Yeah Barkley is far and away the most overrated prospect to me.

Other than Geno what other QBs do you think are better prospects? Tyler Wilson and who else?
