Chipper is a better on-base guy but Ortiz is one of the best 3 hole hitters ever and he is clutch...you already know this though lmao. I would take Chipper over Ortiz though any day

this is not about my bias against him... I think his recency bias is too much... In 5-10 years, he will be seen as a HOF, but not much more than just a very good power bat... Chipper IMO is the better hitter...
