Nope even if he has a bad ankle. Every other player besides Mitchell and Garland are scared
and if anything Garland needed to be selfish like Mitchell - mean that in a good way toward Mitchell. Garland had some 3s or pull ups he passed up in the 4th qtr.

Oh well......need DM to show up again sunday.

Cleveland doesn’t deserve him at this point. Doing it by himself. Garland played well but that’s it
seems like a bit of an overreaction IMO. He was amazing, but if he could have just been decent as opposed to beyond bad maybe we win game 4? Not exactly the reason we won game 5 either.

Coaching and players scared. You can’t just watch Mitchell go one on one and not move. To make things worse unconstested rebound on a miss. The offensive scheme is garbage but players didn’t open shots….all series. They are lucky to be in a game 7.
now they have to go with a hobbled Mitchell, hurt Allen and timid role players

No more words
I mean, Garland, Mobley, Morris and Strus helped carry Mitchell to a game 4 win, but some of that is true.

A lot of over reaction here. Magic are arguably the worst road team in the playoffs. Cavs in 7.

Mobley should have expanded his offensive game by year 3. No overreaction here
Even with a 28 ppg guy still was at 16 ppg and much more efficient as he's been every season.

Not that he can be Giannis, but looks like a similar year 3 season to him.

If they lose Sunday, JB is definitely gone. The offense hasn’t been good, inconsistent. Little ball movement. Even said that, if the Cavs don’t shoot 27% from 3 in this series they win in 6 at worst.

I hate feeling like a Philly fan
I'd say good chance he's gone if we lose. I guess maybe even if we win but lose badly to the Cs.

But heard windy kind of tie us in when discussing LA when he said he gets why they fired Ham but who is out there you are sure is so much better (than JB)?

Bud would be interesting with his defense but I'd almost rather see a newbie than a failed or twice failed retread.

Yep been very little offensive improvement if any
I kind of disagree here as he is far more efficient and also a better passer. If only he wasn't so good as a rookie he would have looked more improved I guess.

as usual...many fans feel better when they blame guys they may not like (or a coach), I guess. No secret Magic are really good at home, too and props to them for gutting it out. Though no Allen, a hobbled Mobley and DM and shooting like crap (and that is being kind) hard to believe as close as it was.

Not to say game 7 a lock at all as who knows how it goes (and it is a Cleveland team) but I'd sure feel a lot better if Allen played. we have a much better record when he plays than not. Not Embiid level difference but it is extreme.

JA not Embiid but just as impactful to what Cleveland does. He’s the fulcrum to everything they do defensively and he’s a double double.

Yep...last 2 years with him 91-55. 3 years it's 126-73
2 years without him is 8-10.... 3 years it's 17-27

This group hasn’t even seen the second round so you can’t even reach the level of Philly fan. You’re like a Nets fan right now.
Fair enough but round really doesn’t matter when you watch guys fold in the players. One guy carrying it all

Garland was pretty non-existent in the 2H. Makes no sense after being so aggressive in the 1st half and this is what is missing from his game. Staying aggressive for 48.

Worst part of that is the one guy probably doesn’t want to be there any more.

Game 6 man. If you expect this team to be a contender in the future this is what builds team in big moments. Guys were passing up open shots, standing in the corner and watching Mitchell. That was literally the offense

Depends on what they are willing to do for him. WILLING to Garland or Mobley and fire JBB. Anything it takes. Willing to make changes for him and he definitely stays.

I mean, that 1 guy has now had 1 amazing game. One OK and 4 that were pretty bad. He was carried by his teammates to a game 5 win for sure. Could argue game 2, as well.

Love the guy and as mentioned he was amazing in game 6...but really do wonder why you will never be critical of him.

More efficient but all around the rim. His jumper looks better at times but it won’t improve if he continues to pass up shots. Not sure he took a 3 this entire playoffs (actually 4 in one game, 3 in another). That’s not how you improve. He has one move, a baby hook

Totally agree with that. Especially when he is hitting his shots. Take a cue from Mitchell....he can be ice cold and will still keep shooting.

But why?

I don’t get it. The top end of what Mitchell looks like is Prime Dame. What did that ever win? Can you win a championship with Mitchell as your best player? Probably not.

This is what I keep telling stupid Sixers fan friends stuck in a moment. “Trade Embiid and build around Maxey!” Why? A volume shooting 2 guard as your best player isn’t winning a championship.

He is on a bad knee. All series. Even in the regular season you could tell he wasn’t himself
