I didn’t like the Tatum T. Poor officiating. The whistle is bang bang there. You can argue he’s defending a shot.
Celtics just need to take care of business in Atlanta and move on. None of that stuff should have mattered, you can’t lose that game.
When does Tatum start getting criticized for 8-21 games and 1-10 from 3? He doesn’t have to do this on a team with efficient scoring all over the roster.
He’s an incredible shot maker so I get it but the Cs are best when they don’t play hero ball and the ball moves. There’s too many weapons with great spacing when they play that way.
Of course it's a bad loss, I'm giving you grief about giving up on the team most of us have as the best one in the playoffs
I’ll give the guy some latitude in the knee jerk. Last night was big because of the Embiid injury. If you have a chance of catching no Embiid for game 1 or game 2, Sixers are left needing to hold home court while also counting on game 5 or 7 to steal on the road. Game 1 and 2 are the easier steal situation for the road team. Just my opinion.
I get all that but still, are they no longer the team to beat because of one game? No need to be all scared of the Sixers. Should be a fun series
I won’t go so far as to say bad. I think more difficult is the right situation. I still think the Cs have the better matchups here. I need the Sixers not to get duped into being so Embiid centric. I need movement and cutting around his touches even if he’s singled up. In the 4Q and when they need it, the Cs will send doubles. At that point, guys haven’t gotten that lather worked up just watching Embiid iso over and over again. A small layer of this nobody talks about is how that inactivity makes the Embiid off minutes worse because you need guys like Maxey Harris Harden in those minutes and if they’ve been inactive, it’s hard to get it going in the flow of the game. Embiid has to understand that if he wants to win this series he needs to get 25 a night not 35 and instead make plays from the top of the key or the nail for his teammates. Then in the guts of the game when they need buckets to close through him.
