1880-2000 MLB Mock Draft

[Ritzarmy]

3 per division making it a total of 18 players drafted from 1880-2000. Players had to play at least 3yrs for a certain division to be eligible. Players division can be changed at anytime. You can draft 1 HOFer per division so 6 total HOFers. We are using current divisions for the teams. Rocket and Barry are counted as HOFers.

So, there's no limit to how many players from the same team you get but it has to be only 3 from the same division?

I vote that we go to the 3 season minimum rule for players. A quick glance has me spending way too much time trying to figure out which modern day team the Louisville Colonels are today (I still don't know, by the way) and if we are going all the way back to 1880, then I think this will not be my last battle like this.

The Louisville Colonels don't exist any longer. After 1899, their owner bought the Pirates and folded the Colonels while bringing his top Colonels talent to Pittsburgh with him. The move worked well for the Pirates - as they went from 7th in 1899 to 2nd in 1900 and 1st the next 3 seasons. The Pirates would have a winning record every year from 1900 to 1913 - and won the NL 4 times and never finished lower than 4th.

Love to find 10 regulars first but if we can't then yes we ask around. New blood is always great but also runs a risk they leave during the draft.

2. We will be drafting a bench, but value is based on how many chicken wings they can eat in an hour
3. Every team has Bo Jackson at 3rd base
4. only players born in `MERICA!!!!!!!!!! are draft eligible
5. Team with the most Rockies on it starts each game with 5 runs.
