15 years since I spent enough time at the range.

And boy did it show. Anticipating the recoil and jerking instead of squeezing the trigget like a mfer on my semi auto. Did a lot better with the revolver. Oh well just means I get to put more rounds through it. :D

Going to the range is like therapy to me. Joined a new, more laid back range last Tues and can't wait to get back out there, may try to sneak off tomorrow and zero my new scope. There's very few things I'd rather be doing than putting on my headphones and sending some rounds down range.

May go tomorrow afternoon for some more. The class was great and we shot about 100 rounds with the 357. Then we were allowed to stay for as long as we wanted. So I put another 150 through my Ruger. Literally forgot how tiring it can be if done for long periods.

Did not even know this range existed and I have driven past it hundreds of times. It is a IN DNR range. Costs 4 bucks for all day or a season pass is 80. Just had a 2 million dollar upgrade last year. Found where I will be going.

I was feeling pretty good with my Shield 9mm this last Tuesday. I was drawing, taking 3 or 4 fairly rapid shots at my 15 yd target then transitioning to my 30 yd target and taking 2 more fairly rapid shots with halfway decent results.

Nothing better then a little trigger time.

I spend at least two days a week in the summer shooting either shotguns or rifles. Most of the time I try to get out at least 4 times. Gives me time to recharge my batteries and let everything go for a few hours.

We still got a foot of snow on my range. Indoor range at 20 yds is getting boring.

Lucky you. I prefer the range to not be busy. Went this past Saturday for 3 hours. Dropped another 300 rnds through the pistol. Getting better with my trigger control coming back slowly. Might just have to go again this Saturday if the weather allows. Just need to pick up some more ammo.

Dang, that looks so nice. We have one public outdoor range by me and it's always crowded and you can't really shoot the way you want to. The thing I hate most is they limit you to 6 rounds in the magazine. I have yet to do a mag dump on my AR because no range by me lets you do it.

I've actually thought that if someone opened another public outdoor range around Ann Arbor it would get a ton of business because there just aren't enough.

I really like the one I'm going to now. $100 a year, 350 yards long and about the only thing you can't do is bring exploding or glass targets. We've even got a golf cart you can use to ride out and put up/check your targets. I usually always go on Tuesdays and there hasn't been more than 4 or 5 other people at the most at a single time and I'm usually out there for atleast 2 hrs, usually more.
