Its gonna be a tough game, but we ALL know Thornton will be ready to play tonight.

I can't wait for the east coast bias to somehow give credit to the Sharks after we beat Boston.

LeTs Go SHARKS!!!!!! :horn:

They won't...even if the Sharks win. It would be chalked up to some lucky reason they won!!

They said Burns is back in San Jose so it doesn't sound like we'll see him again until maybe the LA game.

With Wingels injured we may see Havlat back in the line up on Saturday.

Teams skating well but not a lot of dangerous shots. I did miss the first 15 minutes though where we had like 10 shots.

Unbelievable. Thay sat back and watched the Bruins play for the last 25-30 seconds. How do you dominate the entire game then sit back and watch the last half minute?

I missed the game due to work, but I just saw a pretty crappy clip on YouTube. Kind of tough to call from what I've seen. Doesn't look "malicious", but I mean there is almost a foot difference between the two of them. I'm not defending anything until I see a better video.

Drew and the gang make it out to be a worse hit than it was. It was late but Wingels tried to duck under it. It may have ended up being a high hit anyway but Wingels attempt to duck it made the hit worse than it would have been.

Im sure nothing will get said because its Chara on an original 6 team in a huge market, that being said, height played a roll in the it. Its really kind of Chara should finish his check but Wingels did dump prior to him getting to him so its kind of iffy at best.

Sucks they went prevent but now they are missing 4 of their 9 forwards i dont care who you are that hurts

rough ending, but I thought they played really really well considering. Beantown is tough, and on the road without 4 top 9 forwards and your #1 Dman. Not to mention 2 of your remaining forwards are 20 or younger year old rookies. Basically outside of jumbo-patty-cooch-pavs-Kennedy, the sharks had basically no proven help and a whole lot of, for an intents and purposes, 4th liners in mccarthy, desi, hamilton (at this point), and Brown and were playing a man down for nearly the whole game. Still they controlled most of the play and took it to boston for the majority of the game.

The end result was obviously sad and Jumbo has to take the man in the front, but the effort was there and I saw alot of things that really bode well. Pretty rough on the injury front but it actually could be a strange blessing in disguise to give alot of these guys some time off and keep them fresh. No need to rush anyone back or risk further injury. Clearly, when healthy, the sharks are very strong, so I see no need to "go for it" at this stage in the year.
