Wtf Jimmy.

Then of course Wiggins can’t even grab the ball

Per usual, Thibs blows through his time outs

I was thinking the same thing during the course of the game, wasn't sure if it was common place, and apparently it is. lol. For real though, how do you run out of TO's in an NBA game?

Minnesota should have won this game.

Houston going to blow them out in game 2. I'm expecting a 15 point+ win

Agree, whatever the spread is, Houston is going to cover comfortably.

To be fair to Thibs, they changed the timeout rules this year to speed up end of games without having too many stoppages. Once the 2 minute mark of the 4th hits, both teams are reduced to 2 timeouts no matter what. Even if you had 4 timeouts with 2:01 left, you're still at 2 timeouts once the clock hits 2:00

Thibs leans heavily on every antiquated coaching ideal. He is 10 years behind the rest of the league. People think he is better than he is because he does not play the bench so the starters inflate what his records.

Thibs will adjust to this rule change in 4 to 5 years.

I have no idea wth Butler did

Reverse 180 fade away off 1 foot. Haha

I tell you, with the rules today Harden is hard to guard. Add in he's a lefty and flops + gets calls and it's dam near impossible to guard that dude

Him taking the TO in between FT's didn't make any sense IMO.

I think if you call palming and remove tricky tack calls he is only a top 20 player instead of top 2.

Harden can shoot the rock and he can go to the hole tho. With his size and some speed, those attributes alone make it hard to guard. Dude can play and knows how to get calls. You could call palming the bball on nearly half the league

I agree to this completely. I think his worst version is top 20.

That final Butler shot might be the worst shot in that situation I've ever seen. I am not exaggerating. Given the time and situation (ie plenty of time to run a go to play called from the bench), I can't think of a worse outcome

Hope I'm wrong, but it feels like the Wolves missed out on their shot at making this a competitive series.

Yep a win last night and this is a 6 game series. They probably win a game at home before Houston send them fishing in game 5

Just imagine if the T-Wolves had a coach who could put together a cohesive offense.

Minnesota is holding one of the best NBA offenses to 76 points right now................

Thibs is a defensive, physical coach. We are not used to seeing this in todays finesse NBA world, so it may look choppy and crappy, but it is actually great basketball because it is DEFENSE.
Agreed, but he could use an offensive minded coach really bad in this series. Hou is more than likely not going to miss this many shots in the next few games. That will expose Minny's inability to take advantage of all those miss matches. They are letting Hou off the hook defensively.
