Wow, Santos has a nice ERA for a 17 year old in the DSL. However, he's going to need to cut down on the runners. I guess that he goes to the DSL Giants and Anderson gets assigned to San Jose.

Look, us bringing up Sandoval is a clown move for sure, and one that could only happen when your team is screwed. But guess what? That's where we are. Of course this is stupid, but not when you acknowledge the deal. Same reason the Mets probably bring up Tebow in September. They should, why not?

I posted over in the deadline thread, but I think this is a pretty dang good haul for Nunez, all things considered. Potential number 4 starter, or high leverage bully arm, and a young lottery ticket that this system desperately needs. For 2 months of Nunez? Really satisfied. More than I thought we'd get.

That makes this season even sadder, as the Gs are dead last in MLB in HR, 18 behind the team above them, the Bucs.
