I don't get how the Texans can "cancel" the last three years on Diggs' contract and apparently have no dead cap penalty. I get that Diggs would have had to agree but does he really think he'll be able to get a new contract that will beat what was in those 3 years.

Bowl games outside of the CFP, have for a long time been meaningless. But with the transfer portal and draft preparers not participating, they have become little more than early spring practice games. Possibly the only reason to watch is to get a peak at next season's breakout players.

It's more than ridiculous. ESPN is reporting 90 QBs in the portal. That's insane. The transfer portal has created a total mess. I can't help but wonder how Arch Manning hasn't declared for the portal. Even an enormous NIL doesn't make up for sitting as a back-up.
