No one wants to see the best young player in the world get injured.

Including Richardson.

The dude literally stumbled as he was trying to get in front of Simmons. Obviously an accidental play. That is why there no flagrant foul called.

Being the first player to win a championship with 3 different teams would be impressive I would argue.

You are basically arguing that winning titles doesn't matter to him which is specious to say the least.

I've never made that argument. Not once. I have said that there is more to a legacy than titles and that how those titles are won matters.

Look at Kobe, if he doesn't get those 2 titles without Shaq...he still would have had a great career. He still would have been a superstar player...but he wouldn't have near the legacy he does now. If he had jumped to say, the Spurs or some other really good team to get a couple of titles, he still wouldn't get the respect he does now.

how old was Kobe when Shaq left though? 26 or 27?

LeBron is gonna be 34 in December. Kobe still had plenty of time. LeBron does not have another decade.

Its why I can see him re upping with the Cavs for another couple years and then moving onto LA if he wants too. LA just isnt ready at this point to contend and I cant see LeBron throwing away years.

That being said there are still so many factors that remain unsettled- how far the Cavs go, if they can get a player in a trade for the Brooklyn pick, what Paul George does etc...

If it were only LeBron sure. If they sign Paul George too, that's a contending team. Phone calls will be made.

Which is why his legacy is more important to him now. Titles are obviously still most important to him and he'll take how ever many more he can get.

But his legacy is also far more important to him now than it was when he was younger.

I can definitely see him staying in Cleveland, especially if they can figure out a way to get him some more help. As for the Lakers not being ready to contend. As currently constructed...I agree.

However, you know as well as I do, Lebron ain't coming to the Lakers by himself. If you add Lebron an PG or if the Lakers can somehow manage to get Kawhi to pair with Lebron. You have a contender.

That being said there are still so many factors that remain unsettled- how far the Cavs go, if they can get a player in a trade for the Brooklyn pick, what Paul George does etc...

Exactly. Things have a way of changing very quickly and 1 move can create a domino effect that influences what many teams do. All of this speculation is fun and interesting, but it'll be even more fun to see how it all actually plays out.

Meek was released from jail.

If he shows up to the game tonight....

RIP TO THE 2017-2018 MIAMI HEAT

Miami should have forfeited as soon as Meek Mill was freed. There was no way the Universe was letting Philly lose that game tonight

Ive lived here since 87.
Answer easily used to be Dolphins.
Wade put the Heat neck and neck, if not ahead.

I'd say

1) Heat
2) Hurricanes (very close to #1)
3) Dolphins
4) Panthers
5) Local HS football teams
6) YMCA senior basketball ball leagues
......
197) Oh yeah, and the Marlins

You keep saying legacy but I'm trying to figure out what you mean by that.

You seem to be arguing that he won't go to the Sixers(or the Rockets or some other team with a lot of talent) because it will look bad but he WILL go to the Lakers if they bring in another All-NBA player like Paul George or Kawhi. I don't get your logic here.

If he leaves Cleveland he will get shit no matter where he goes. I don't see how his legacy gets tarnished only in certain situations.

Yeah I follow a lot of Miami people on twitter. I don't know who is at the top because Miami love those hurricanes but all I know is that the Heat are now above the Dolphins and it has been that way for nearly 10 years now from the outside looking in

Read an article this morning in the Miami Herald all but confirming moves will be made @TurnUpTheHeat @Heatles84

It said Pat and the front office wanted to give this group a full season considering they went 30-11 to end last year. Inside the organization they were hoping the team would have pushed close to 50 wins, get HCA in round 1, and win a series.

They had 7 losses vs the Nets, Magic, & Kings.

That is the difference with being a 44 win 6th seed and a 51 win 3rd seed.

As much as people are all over ‘the process’, what really elevated the Sixers to the winning level they are at now is their 2 buyout signings.

Brett Brown went from some of the worst seasons a coach could endure, to what is probably about to be some of the best. Say it with me: Trust the Process.

The frustrating things about Philly last 2 wins is the Heat held them to a point total that should have been good enough to at least get 1 win....possibly even 2
