Always thought things happen closer to the actual deadline. Right up to the minute.
I still think Santana would be cheap
Connor Sadzeck is pitching tonight for Frisco. I wonder if he is pitching to earn a big league start.
It's not a matter of who but when. Can only put so much sand in an hour glass.Wonder what it would take to get rich hill
I don't think so.Connor Sadzeck throws a season high 98 pitches to complete 6 innings while giving up 1 run on a solo HR. He gave up 6 hits and 3 walks while striking out 4. I am not sure if that was good enough to get him a promotion to the big leagues. Too many baserunners.

He has pitched like he was injured ever since his velocity dropped. Let's just hope that is what it was. He is only 29 so hopefully it wasn't age related.FWIW. Dutch in interview today is thinking injury may had had an effect on velo and is curious what if will be upon return. He considered himself a power pitcher and was figuring out how to finesse outs.
Of course in optimism I hope he does get some back he can resurrect some confidence and as mentioned find a bulldog spirit. Age is never your ally though

Did he give any timeframe for his return or did he say where he was in his rehab?
I'm sure he will get one more chance if he is not put on the DL.I know I'll be in the minority here, but I didn't think Lohse was too bad. If you take that Rosario guy out of the equation, he did ok. Better than lu jax or chi chi at least.
