You guys have a culture of winning embedded into your core rosters DNA. The Dodgers core prove time and again that LA is the club med for baseball players where winning is "neat" but not a prerequisite. Until we clean house of this culture of more than a quarter century WS drought will continue.

Last two nights are perfect examples.... Timmah did not have great stuff by any means- you squeak out 5 infield hit wet farts and swinging bunts but control the game. Last night you strikeout 9 times at the hand of Kershaw but control the game on 5 hits. You guys position yourself for wins,understand situation, managed well - while the Dodgers have no idea how to manufacture runs outside of the double or greater.

Yes. While I think this team is very good, as I noted in the off season numerous times they are are still a few years away from being a legit WS contender. I think the Padres and Giants will give us fits all year long as this is a three team race (Giants may fade due to injuries).

It's only April so I will reserve judgement until End of May/start of June (as I did last year) as to what this team truly is in 2015. But I'm not buying that the bullpen is revamped and playoff caliber. Nor do I think this team is built to win playoff style baseball similar to that of the Giants. There is nobody to depend on across our roster - not one player who can hang your hat on and say they will carry us today (i.e. Bumgarner). Furthermore, they fail at manufacturing runs against elite competition.

The starting rotation is stretched thin, the bullpen is not infallible and our lineup folds against elite pitching. There is nothing to indicate to me otherwise as it is 27 years and running of the same nonsense. We have a culture issue within the organization and those take years, sometimes decades to maneuver.
