Yes, UK is extreme in saying Hawkins is Dr. J. Not even close. Although Hawkins was a great late round pick up that I wanted to take at one point as well.


But Dr. J is not top 10 of all time. I'll let you settle for top 15 argument but we ain't going single digits on that.

Uhh yeah and it really isn't even close. He would have to literally tank the rest of his career to move out.

But obviously this is all you can do because there is literally zero argument against it.

And zero for Dr. J as top 10. Honestly I don't know if I have ever seen anyone with him in their top 10. One the other hand everyone has LeBron as one of the greatest players to ever play the game.

Love the two players from each decade in MLB idea, only thing I would change is make it 3 players per decade for 24 total players, 13 position and 11 pitchers

Comparing the two is foolish IMO. I'm a huge Hawk fan but he was real good for what 4 or 5 years, the good doctor was real good always. 30,000 points vs 11,000 isn't really much of a comparison. Mr. Erving is one of the 10 best players who ever played the game, Connie can't even smell the top 10.


Funny thing with that extra two inches Connie averaged half the block shots the doctor did.


Like I said i'm a big time Connie Hawkins fan but he's not in the same league as Julius Erving.

Say hey to Tatu on Fantasy Island(Doc as top 10 lol). Hawkins may have only had 5-6 top years, but that's in part because he started out with the Harlem Globetrotters. Money wasn't like it is today in the NBA. Besides, we're talking about both men at the top of their game. I don't need Hawkins to be BETTER than Erving, I just wanted someone bigger and just as athletic to cover him. If I were you, I'd be worried about how Dwight Howard is going to cover Hakeem with Hayes out at the 3 point line trying to stay with Dirk. Without help, Olajuwon would OWN Howard

I'm feeling pretty good about my ratings, I voted Shane and Hockey 1-2, myself 3. Not saying they can't be beat through individual matchups, by up to 7-8 teams that were created, but I thought they did a super job

Zero argument against it? Maybe in your mind. Top 5 maybe in terms of athletic talent but top 5 as a player nope! By everyone you mean people 25 and younger.
