Interesting that Philly is ranked 30th in total defense in the NFL ... The times I've watched them play it seem's like they've played pretty decent D for the most part... I'm wondering if that hurry up offense is leaving them on the field allot lowering there total ... Another interesting stat, Seattle is #1 in rushing offense just above Dallas... Philly is 3rd...

I would think so, I'd bet that if you found a defensive ranking that takes things like ToP into account they'd be rated higher. Still though, Philly D has had some bad games this year. They can be scored on. I think Wilson and co will be able to move the ball, the key will be punching it in instead of settling for field goals. As good as Seattle's D has been the last few weeks, I don't see holding Philly to 3 points as very realistic.

27 points is the magic number for the Eagles. The Eagles are 0-3 when scoring less then 27 points and 9-0 when scoring 27 or more. On the flip side we arent built to win a shoot out so its important we try to keep this game in the low 20's.

The two times the Eagles have faced top 10 defenses this year, they lost (AZ, SF).

Power run on the Eagles and have to get play action going cause their secondary is seriously flawed. This will be a very tough game but I think Seattle will win the turnover battle and hold Philly under 20 pts.

This will be the second big test for this run defense since Mebane went down. The first big test in KC didn't go well, but Wagner didn't play and Chancellor was just coming back from an injury. Both are big contributors in the run defense and both will be healthy and well-rested next week. They've gotta keep McCoy from having a big day and I think they can do that with the guys they have back.

Dude, your defense is shit and Sanchez is your QB. The Eagles have beaten a lot of shitty teams that either can't capitalize on all of the turnover that offense coughs up, or ends up commiting costly turnovers themselves. They're not going to luck out in this one.

As for this game, I'm not all that worried about it. The Zona game was as close to a must win as they were going to see down this stretch. There was some pressure last week. The only thing they lose with a loss on Sunday is any hope of a first round bye. SF looks like crap and Zona is imploding under an avalanche of injuries.

The question of this game isn't the marquee match up, it's Seattle's offense vs Eagles defense. They blitz a lot. Normally that's something Wilson is decent at handling if his line can give him any time at all, but we all know Unger is still out and that's going to be huge this game. Most of their sacks come from the LB layer. Wilson will be on the run early and often. How that line helps him will determine the outcome of this game.
