Onto Green Bay, Wisconson

The Packers had a very tough day today against the Vikings. They won 27-24 but I had a chance to get more than a glimpse on NFL Sunday Ticket every time the Patriots went to a commercial break. The Packers have lost games against the Seahawks , Lions and Saints in 2014. The Lions held them to 7 points about a month ago. The two games that the played before today the Pack scored more than 50 points in both games.

I've been trying to get a 7 day weather forecast for Green Bay, but I keep getting Milwaukee which is in WI but I'm not sure how far from Green Bay.

Watching the Patriots dismantle the #1 defense in the NFL today, I'm pretty confident that they can give the Packers a decent game. I'm sure the Packers will be favored at home.

Temps are predicted to be partly sunny high in the Mid 20's and also a chance of flurries so not so bad this time of year and the way the Pats are playing they will take this game.

This stat is a bit misleading as most of that ranking came from early in the season and there is no way even with good rush defense in games this time of year to change that ranking much. Because the rush defense had not done so well changes were made and if you go look at the rush totals over the last 4 weeks or so there is much improvement so currently are not playing like they were on rush D compared to the start of the year.

Good point. Some of the Pats stats are also skewed from earlier in the season.

I was checking out the Packers board and it seems some Green Bay fans are pretty certain of an easy Green Bay victory.

Only those wearing Green and Gold sunglasses. True fans realize that this will be the stiffest test for the Packers and are worried about the so called "home field" advantage. A win doesn't guarantee squat but will go a long ways in determining the team to beat in the respective conference.

I must have missed those posts, I think almost all of them think this is a tough game to call. I think either team could win "easily" if the other makes mistakes. If both teams play pretty mistake free ball, I don't think i'd be confident in predicting the outcome. Both are talented and can win in a number of ways. They're also both very capable of losing it.

I expect this to be a hard fought game between 2 focused teams. I hope I am not disappointed.

these two teams are almost mirror images of each other stats wise other than rush D. It will come down to turnovers and how GB defends against the run. I just keep seeing that Blount td from a year or two ago where he bulldozed 9 defenders for a 54 yard td in my mind. I hope it's not a repeat
